The aim of the Estonian Jazz Union is to develop and advance the Estonian jazz music both at home and abroad. The Estonian Jazz Union organises concerts and thematic events, collects and shares the information about the Estonian jazz music and musicians, organises cooperation between musicians and organisations and, searches for financial resources for developing jazz music.
Since 2016, the chairwoman of the Managing Board is Laura Põldvere. The members of the Managing Board include Ivi Rausi-Haavasalu, Peedu Kass, Jaak Sooäär, Tanel Ruben, Tõnis Tüür, and Mairo Marjamaa. The concert programme of the Estonian Jazz Union is coordinated by Ramuel Tafenau and marketing communications is led by Raili Somelar.
