Tree Stones Quartet brings together the best and already internationally acknowledged young jazz musicians from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The quartet performs the original music of the members of the band, where jazz music tradition meets modern-day. The influence of hardbop and jazz adds spark to their music. “The Baltic rocks” are bassist Peedu Kass from Estonia, drummer Kaspars Kurdeko from Latvia, saxophonist Kestutis Vaiginis from Lithuania, and pianist Dmitrij Golovanov from Lithuania. All of them are musicians that are known to the audience of their homeland and play in several other European bands. The band has already performed in Germany, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. In 2013, they recorded their first album Baltic Sketches in Riga and it reached the audiences in 2014. It is a jazz album with a clear groove, intense melodies and an airy atmosphere, its album cover is a photo of a fairy-tale- like northern landscape. The band has given over 30 concerts and played in Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Lithuania, and Estonia.
