April brings 10 Estonian Jazz Union concerts and festival Jazzkaar
Estonian Jazz Union is organising 10 concerts in April. This Friday, 7 April, Rebecca Kontus’s concert will take place at NO99 Jazziklubi, and on Saturday, 8 April, Morgenthaler-Röllin-Ruben Trio will be performing at Philly Joe’s Jazziklubi. Tickets are on sale on GateMe.
Estonian Jazz Union is organising three concerts in Tallinn. This weekend there will be two concerts: on April 7 Rebecca Kontus will be performing at NO99 Jazzklubi, and on April 8, Morgenthaler-Röllin-Ruben Trio will be playing at Philly Joe’s Jazziklubi. On April 14, Hedvig Hanson will be performing at NO99 Jazzklubi. Tickets for the concerts in Tallinn are available through presale on GateMe. In the second half of April the Estonian Jazz Union will not organise any concerts but will invite all friends of jazz to enjoy Jazzkaar, the biggest jazz festival in the Baltics.
There will be more going on outside Tallinn, in other words: even seven concerts. The month started off with the concert of Morgenthaler-Röllin-Ruben Trio at Jazz Time Club in Sillamäe on 1 April. After the concert in Tallinn, Rebecca Kontus will be performing at Ülikooli Kohviku Jazziklubi on 8 April. Several concerts will be given by “Soon” Quartet, uniting Estonian and Finnish musicians. They will be on stage at Viljandi Jazziklubi on 18 April, at Ülikooli Kohviku Jazziklubi on 20 April, at Endla Jazzklubi on 21 April and at Rakvere Jazzukohvik on 22 April. Redel Ruudus & Mirjam Kivisild will be performing at Võru Jazziklubi on 21 April. Check for more information below and see you at the concerts!
